Supermarine "Spitfire" Mk.Ia, N3277, HoAZ "Dirty Dick", piloted by the Pilot Officer Richard "Dick" Hardy, of the N°334 (RAF) Squadron, N°10 (RAF) Group, RAF, based at Middle Wallop (RAF) Station, in 1940. Shoot down the 15th. August 1940 near Cherbourg (France) and captured by the Luftwaffe.
